Call it magic, call it charm. Whatever it is, Richard Gutierrez’s “Zorro” continues to gallop in the rating race. It’s even said that “Zorro” is doing wonders to GMA’s primetime block, pulling upwards the ratings of the shows that follow: “Totoy Bato,” “Ang Babaeng Hinugot sa Aking Tadyang,” “All About Eve,” and the Koreanovela “Fated to Love.”

The observation is televiewers are so engrossed on “Zorro” that they end up watching the rest of the shows in the primetime block. “Zorro” has top-notch story, production, and star values. Zorro is the 7th role of Richard Guttierez as leading man in Philippine television series. His first  leading man role in GMA TV series was Aguiluz in Mulawin.
