Celebrity Hot Shots in the Philippines

ABS-CBN television company is one of the producers of top rating “teleserye” in the Philippines. One is “Tayong Dalawa” which is a big hit. The story hits the heart of publics, anywhere you go its a been a topic. Most of the time if they forgot to watch the episode at night they’ll probably ask what happen the next morning to their classmates, co-workers and friends. All the cast of the teleserye has its own impact to public, one is the character of “Ramon” who played by Coco Martin. Coco effectively portrayed this role as a “kontrabida” and he was happy because despite the “kontrabida” role public accept this and loved his character. “Natutuwa ako actually, ang sarap ng feeling kasi kahit kontrabida yung character ko sa soap, yung mga tao pag nakikita ako ang sinasabi nila, ‘uy wag ka munang mamamatay ha’. Saka inaabangan daw nila minsan yung mga eksena namin ni Lola Gets (portrayed by Gina Pareno), kaya nakakataba ng puso”.

If remembered Coco faced issues with Katherine Luna who was his co-star in the film “Masahista”. Katherine announce to the public that the father of her child was Coco martin and that Coco doesnt give any support to her. But on the follow up interview Coco give support financially to Katherine for their child. Despite of these contoversies ABS-CBN gave Coco a big break. In fact, even though “Tayong Dalawa” still airs to television, Coco started to tape for his next project to ABS-CBN entitled “Agimat – Tonyong Bayawak”. I’m sure that Coco will play this role effectively, his acting skills were develop and playing the role of “Tonyong Bayawak” will be great.

According to Coco “Masaya ang first day ko lalo pa’t magagaling ang mga kasama ko dito sina Eric Fructuoso, Miss Tessie Tomas, Ram Revilla at marami pang iba. Medyo wala pa kaming mga fighting at yung changing costume na eksena, pero masaya naman”. It was a mystery and a puzzle to the public who will be the leading lady of Coco, because until now there was no details release by ABS-CBN who will be his leading lady. “Masaya ang first day ko lalo pa’t magagaling ang mga kasama ko dito sina Eric Fructuoso, Miss Tessie Tomas, Ram Revilla at marami pang iba. Medyo wala pa kaming mga fighting at yung changing costume na eksena, pero masaya naman, Si Alex, okay lang. Kahit lagi akong nilalait niya, okay lang, ‘Okay si Alex kasi komportable na ako sa kanya. Alam na namin kung paano umarte at suportahan ang isa’t isa. Saka marami rin akong natututunan sa kanya bilang artista. Kaya walang problema sa akin kung magka-project kami ulit”. Coco said.

As a “Tayong Dalawa” viewer, i can say that Coco and Alessandra team-up is a big hit. They played roles effectively and the chemistry was there. If Alessandra will be Coco’s leading lady to “Tonyong Bayawak” i may say this is another top rating program that ABS-CBN may have.
