Finally after the long wait for the wedding date of Sen.Mar Roxas and Korina Sanchez the couple announced the date from their interview on The Buzz. It was on October 23,2009 were the well known public servants exchanges their vows. The couple explains that the said date was has a great meaning for them.
“’Yung Oktubre birthday month ni Korina at birthday ng yumao kong kapatid,” simula ni Sen. Mar. “Yung 23 suwerte sa amin ‘yan both in astrology at saka sa Chinese calendar. At sa numerology sinabi nila ang two and three ‘pag pinagsama, five (so) buntis. Maganda ‘yun.”
It cannot be denied that for Korina’s age it was hard to have a baby but they were advice by the doctor that there still the possibilities for Korina to get pregnant. According to Korina “kailangang humabol kahit makaisang anak lamang sila”. The couple has a lot of option for the church. First, they visited Sto. Domingo, Church. They like the church because of its bigger place and occupancy both for their families and suporters. Second, was Manila Cathedral in Intramuros they like the best sound system and authentic pipe organ of the church considered that the church was big. Although both church was a good venue, the couple was not yet announce were they will exchanges their vows.
The couple has two months to prepare for their wedding and couple were using it by visiting places that matters to each other. The couple visited Bulacan,Bacolod and Iloilo for Korina be able to meet Mar relatives.
“Ito ang susunod na yugto sa pagsasama natin punung-puno ng tuwa ang puso ko at buong-buo ang loob ko na ito talaga ang susunod para sa atin,” message of mar to Korina. “Dahil sa iyo nagbago lahat ang aking plano, ‘yung pinapangarap kong buhay at makakasama habambuhay, sa wakas ay magkakatotoo na rin. I love you,” answer of Korina to Mar’s messages.
I think this wedding will be the wedding of thr year because both well knowned personality will exchanges vows.
