Korean pop has become more popular nowadays, groups like Wonder Girls and 2ne1 (with half pinay, half korean Sandara Park as one of the members) invades the music industry. And another group, Super Junior, an all-male group is now making its name here. Super Junior’s song “Sorry, Sorry” has occupied the No.1 position in the Myx International Top 20 Chart for the period January 23-29. Making their third album, “Sorry, Sorry” as the top selling K-pop album in the Philippines in 2009.
Last Jan. 23, they had a concert in Beijing, drewing thousand of fans in Wukesong Gymnasiom. They sang more than 30 songs but only 10 of them performed, including Leetuk, Shindong, Siwon, Sungmin, Yesung, Kyuhyun, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Ryeowook, and Heechul. Other 3 members were absent due to personal commitments.
And as part of Asian concert tour, they will have a concert here on April 10. PULP Live Productions, the concert organizer said thousands of Super Junior fans here have already reserved tickets with them. Tickets price range from P900 to P8,500.
Other Super Junior’s concert will pass through Taipei Taiwan, on Feb. 20 to 21; Shanghai, China on Mar. 6 to 7, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on March 20. They begin “The 2nd Asia Tour: Super Show 2″ in Seoul, Korea last year.
