
MANILA, Philippines – Cheryl Cosim, the host of multi-awarded show “Salamat Dok,” is leaving her mother network, ABS-CBN, to transfer to network TV5, according to Ricky Lo, entertainment columnist of the Philippine Star.
Cosim has been working for ABS-CBN for 14 years. Aside from “Salamat Dok,” she hosts a morning show on radio dzMM, and from time to time, anchors Channel 2’s News Advisory.
Lo wrote in his column on Tuesday that Cosim has accepted TV5’s lucrative offer, but she has yet to sign a contract.
Citing reports, Lo said Cosim will anchor TV5’s primetime newscast alongside Paolo Bediones , formerly with GMA 7, starting March.
