MANILA, Philippines – Aga Muhlach has turned down an offer from ABS-CBN to be a guest host of “Wowowee” due to his hectic schedule, his wife said.
Actress Charlene Gonzales, a former beauty queen and a new endorser of a beauty product, disclosed that Muhlach is slated to make 2 movies and a television show.
Gonzales said her husband will work with Regine Velasquez and Angel Locsin in separate movies, and the filming for both projects might start this year.
Also, Muhlach has to prepare for his upcoming TV project with ace comedienne Ai Ai delas Alas, according to Gonzales.
Aside from his hectic schedule, Gonzales also pointed out that Muhlach took into consideration his friendship with Willie Revillame.
Revillame went on “indefinite break” from “Wowowee” after crying foul over purported constant attacks from fellow Kapamilya talent Jobert Sucaldito.
Revillame has asked the management of ABS-CBN to release him from his contract. During their meeting, however, both parties agreed that the controversial TV host would instead take an indefinite break as they “discuss what will be in the best interest of the viewing public.”
During the meeting, Revillame also apologized to the ABS-CBN bosses for his on-air outburst.
Robin Padilla was “Wowowee’s” host for 2 weeks. Luis Manzano, Billy Crawford and John Lloyd Cruz have taken over the job after Padilla left the popular noontime show. (Read more on ABS-CBN and Yahoo! Philippines Entertainment News)
