Joem Bascon denies he, Meryll living under one roofMANILA, Philippines – Actor Joem Bascon belied rumors that he and real-life sweetheart Meryll Soriano are now living under one roof.
“Kung nagsasama kami no, no. Hindi naman. Dumadalaw ako kay Meme (Soriano) kapag may time, kapag walang work. Nag-stay ako for siguro a couple of days, pero umuuwi din naman ako,” Bascon told “SNN: Showbiz News Ngayon.”
The actor noted that it is not yet time to settle down.
“Hindi pa ngayon ang time. Ngayon ini-enjoy pa namin ang boyfriend-girlfriend na stage. Yon, happy naman kami,” the actor said.
Bascon and Soriano have been together for almost a year now. Their romance blossomed while doing the hit series “I Love Betty La Fea.”
Soriano, the eldest daughter of host Willie Revillame, is married to Bernard Palanca, and they have a son named Elijah. The 2 separated 5 months after their civil wedding in 2007. Soriano was pregnant when they separated.
In a previous interview with abs-cbnNEWS.com, Soriano said both she and Palanca are now working on the annulment.
“Wala pa kaming pera para magpa-annul. We are working on it and we need money for that,” Soriano said. “Maa-annul din po kami in time.”
She also said she and the father of her 2-year-old son are on good terms.
