After a show at Dagupan, one of ABS-CBN’s fast-rising teen star Antonello Joseph Perez better known as AJ Perez died from a vehicular accident together with 5 more companions, including his father Gerardo Perez. The unfortunate incident happened at MacArthur Highway in Brgy. San Julian, Tarlac on their way home from a show. The teen star was the one who got serious damages because he was seating at the back of the driver’s seat. He was said dead on arrival at the nearest hospital by past 12 midnight of April 17, 2011 at a very young age of 18.

He was last seen in his first main role in the afternoon show “Sabel” as Jessie Mendiola’s love interest.He also starred in several MMFF films: Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo, Sakal, Sakali, Saklolo, Bahay Kubo, and “Magkaibigan”. He also played a lead role in a five segment film Cinco together with Sam Concepcion and Robi Domingo.
W e will still see him in his last TV project for MMK that will air this coming April 30, 2011 (Saturday) with Bugoy Cariño.
It was also reported that AJ’s family decided to donate his cornea to two lucky person. One is for the 28-year-old Lawrence Villanueva and the other is for an 8-year-old
Earlier today at past 7am, the young teen star’s body was moved from La Salle Greenhills to Christ the King Parish at Green Meadows, Quezon City for a 9am mass. His burial was scheduled earlier 10am today at the Manila Memorial Park in Parañaque City. ABS-CBN will do live coverage of the burial. You can watch the live streaming here.
