Veteran actress Coney Reyes is back on television with the child star Xyriel Manabat (Agua Bendita, Momay).
After portraying supporting roles in her previous teleserye such as Ysabella and Rubi, the award-winning actress is making her comeback as the lead star on the new prime time series of ABS-CBN entitled 100 Days to Heaven. It will replace Mutya that will end this Friday, May 6.
The story of 100 Days to Heaven is about second chance, friendship, and faith in God.
Coney portrays the role of Anna Manalastas, a woman with a cold heart and no mercy towards other people. At an early age, she thought that her mother died but later on she will find out that she was abandoned because her mom left them for another man. She was raised by his father who has a heart full of hatred and doesn’t want to love anymore.
Before she finish her studies, she got pregnant by a man whom she loved so much but that man cheated and left her. Due to that incident, her father died in heart attack. After having birth, she decided to give away the child and live in another country
After several years, Anna became a successful and millionaire businesswoman. Because of the bad experiences in her life, she grow old unkind, unloving and unsympathetic.
When she died, Anna found out that she wouldn’t be able to enter heaven because of her bad ways that’s why she asked God to give her a second chance to make things right. God granted her wish, but in one condition, she must fix all of her mistakes within 100 days. She will start doing her good deeds as her 7 year old self played by Xyriel Manabat.
Coney praised Xyriel for being a good natural actress. She even said that Xyriel is definitely an another child wonder.
It also stars Jodi Sta. Maria, Valerie Concepcion, Sam Milby, Rafael Rosell, Jason Abalos, Vice Ganda, Gloria Romero, Joel Torre, Dominic Ochoa, Xian Lim, and Smokey Manaloto.
100 Days to Heaven will premiere on May 9, 2011 Monday on ABS-CBN Primetime Bida. Be sure to watch it!
