Clara (played by Julia Montes) touched the heart of the viewers for last night’s scene. Clara was arrested by the police for being an accomplice to his father Gary (played by Jhong Hilario) in kidnapping Alvira. She begs her adoptive parents Alvira and Amante Del Valle (played by Dimples Romana and Bobby Andrews respectively) to help her but they didn’t. Even her biological mother Susan (played by Mylene Dizon) wasn’t able to save her daughter from the police. Clara shed many tears as the police walked her out of the hospital while she keeps on saying “Ayokong makulong.”
Mara Clara started airing last year of October and will end Friday this week, June 6. The teleserye had a farewell press conference so that the press members could have a chance to interview the lead stars, Kathryn and Julia.
Kathryn Bernardo (plays Mara), was asked for her opinion on what could be the reason of the success of the show.
When asked how does she feels on being called as the next Judy Ann Santos, she replied:
The two young stars revelead what they learned from their soon to end teleserye.
Kathryn revealed that the ending of their remake of Mara Clara is pretty much the same as of the original but they put twists with the characters so we better stay tuned until the end.
Final episodes of the top rating Mara Clara will have public screenings in different barangays:
June 1-Julogan, Tanza, Cavite; June 2- Pleasant Hills, Mandaluyong City; and June 3- Plaza Miranda Quiapo, Manila.
