Thai superstar confirms visit to the Philippines

Thai superstar, Mario Maurer, had confirmed his visit to the Philippines through an interview in ABS-CBN talk show, “The Buzz”, last Sunday. Though there are no reports yet about the exact date of his visit, Maurer is very hopeful to meet his Filipino Fans on his endorsement of a local clothing band.

“I have to go to the Philippines to meet my fans because I have to go for Penshoppe. I will meet my fans there,” he said.

Maurer is also open for a romantic movie with a Filipina actress.

“Doing a movie outside of Thailand, I think, is a very cool opportunity. I never expected that I’m going to get famous in the Philippines or in China or Taiwan,” he said.

Also during the interview, he stated the qualities he like in a girl.

“Sweet girl. I like a happy girl or funny girl. I like girls that dress up very nice,” he replied.

Maurer is a Thai model born on December 4, 1988. His modeling career started when he was 16 years old. Aside from modeling, he is also an actor. He starred in various movies and has been acknowledged by award-giving bodies. He was one of the lead stars in a 2010 Thailand movie “Crazy Little Thing Called Love” which was loved by many Filipinos through the Filipino adaptation series made by ABS-CBN.
