Melai Cantiveros is up against public pressure, now that ex-boyfriend Jason Francisco is courting her again.
But Melai is not budging and will not be rushed. “Maraming ayaw, marami ring may gusto, yung mga Melasons (Melai and Jason’s fans). Pero at the end of the day, ikaw pa rin magdedesisyon kung sino yung tinitibok ng puso mo, kung ready ka na ba magmahal ulit. Kasi kung hindi ka pa ready, may chance na masaktan ka ulit at ayaw ko nang mangyaru iyon ulit,” she said at the press conference of ABS-CBN’s new gag show “Banana Nite.
Uncertain future. Melai said she and Jason have remained friends.
Melai noted that Jason has changed, saying that he has become more caring. Before, they would always fight.
Melai is now close to Kris Aquino who promised to sponsor her wedding gown if she decides to walk down the aisle. Kris has also given Melai gifts. Then, gift checks, mga camera. Sabi niya, ‘Ay, I’ll give you.’
The special attention from Kris makes her elated. “Sobrang saya.
“Banana Split” airs nightly with “Banana Nite” starting Monday, February 25, after “Bandila.”
