Sa presscon kasi ng Final 5 a few days before the Final Judgment ay tinanong sila kung sino sa palagay nila ang mananalo. Kung para kina Steven, Enzo Pineda, Diva Montelaba, at Sarah Lahbati ay mga sarili nila ang kanilang isinagot, sinabi ni Rocco ay na si Steven ang malamang na manalo dahil ito ang may pinakamaraming text votes sa unang siyam na linggo ng competition.
At sa ginanap ngang Final Judgment ng StarStruck V noong Linggo, February 21, sa Araneta Coliseum ay nagdilang-anghel si Rocco dahil si Steven nga ang itinanghal na Ultimate Male Survivor. Pumangalawa si Enzo upang tanghaling First Prince at pumangatlo si Rocco na itinanghal na Second Prince.
Tanggap naman ni Rocco ang kanyang pagkatalo kay Steven.
Aniya, “Ako po, wala pong problema sa akin kahit anong position o title ang makuha ko. I was just happy na makasama ako sa Final 5. I wasn’t thinking about yung winning nang bonggang-bongga. Yung makapag-pay back lang ako sa mga taong nag-support sa StarStruck, yun lang po ang goal ko tonight. So yung lang po talaga ang gusto ko. So, kahit po ano sabihin nila na Second Prince, kulelat sa boys, wala, wala po sa akin yun.”
Hindi ba siya nakaramdam ng disappointment na hindi siya ang nanalo?
“No, no disappointment at all,” mabilis niyang sagot. “I’m very proud of myself. From thousands of people na nag-audition dito, nakarating ako sa Top 3 guys sa StarStruck. I’m very proud of what I’ve done. So, Rocco, congrats sa ‘yo kasi malayo rin yung narating mo.”
Kumpara kina Rocco at Enzo, madalas napag-iiwanan si Steven sa mga artista tests lalo noong mga unang bahagi ng StarStruck V. Pero lumalabas na si Steven pala ang may pinakamalakas na fan base, at patunay nga nito ang napakamarami niyang nakuhang boto mula sa viewers.

Si Paul Jake Castillo ang naging 2nd Big Winner sa Big Night ng Pinoy Big Brother Double Up na ginanap nung Sabado, February 13, sa Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
May mga nagsasabi na nakaimpluwensiya raw ng malaki ang pagiging mayaman ni Paul Jake para umabante ito nang husto at halos dumikit ang dami ng text votes niya sa Big Winner na si Melisa “Melai” Cantiveros. Tiyak na gumana raw ang pera, hindi lang ng pamilya kundi ng mga kaibigan at mga taong malalapit kay Paul Jake na tiyak na nabibilang din sa mga maykaya sa Cebu.
Kahit si Paul Jake ay hindi inasahan na papasok siya sa Big 5 at magigng mahigpit pang kalaban ni Melai.
Kung may mga nagsasabi na dahil sa pagiging mayaman ni Paul Jake kaya siya naging 2nd Big Placer sa PBB Double Up, marami rin naman ang naniniwala na siya dapat ang nanalo dahil sa ipinakita niyang mga katangian sa loob ng Bahay Ni Kuya. Pero para kay Paul Jake, tanggap at inaasahan na niya na si Melai talaga ang magiging Big Winner.
Sa loob ng Bahay ni Kuya, ang pagiging prangka at diretsong tao ang ilan sa mga ugaling inireklamo sa kanya ng mga kapwa housemates. Naging open nga ang dating housemate niya na si Cathy Remperas na nasaktan siya ng husto nang sabihan daw siya ni Paul Jake na “gold digger.”
Isa sa hinangaan naman kay Paul Jake ay ang pagiging loyal nito sa kanyang girlfriend. Nang tanungin namin ang PBB housemate kung sino ang gusto niyang maka-partner kung saka-sakaling pumasok siya sa showbiz ay wala siyang maisip na isagot.

In a previous interview with Derek, he mentioned about having kids. Is Angelica ready to this idea?
“Siyempre, mahirap naman magsabi na hindi ‘yon mangyayari soon. Malay natin, hindi ko alam. Hindi ko talaga puwedeng sabihin na mangyayari siya next week or ano. Mahirap magsabi. Basta masaya lang kami sa relationship. Hindi naman maiiwasan ang mga gusto namin or mga plano naming sa buhay, di ba?” said Angelica.
The young actress also pointed out that she and her boyfriend of three years should be ready if ever they decided to settle down.
“Siguro kapag sinabing ready, hindi naman ibig sabihin na bukas magpapakasal na kami, di ba?” Angelica said. “As much as possible, gusto naming maayos ang lahat. So, kung darating kami sa point na magse-settle down kami, wala namang problema at siguro wala namang kokontra. Kaya lang, nasa amin ‘yon, kung gaano na ba kami kahanda sa isa’t isa.”
Angelica, however, does not deny that marrying Derek has already crossed her mind.
“Bakit naman ako mag-i-invest ako ng emotions sa kanya ng ganito katagal kung hindi naman pala siya ang taong gusto kong makasama sa buhay?” she said.

Aside from lifting weights and running the treadmill, Luis Manzano also practices muaythai and mma (mixed martial arts). His looks and his skills definitely read “action star material.” But why does he prefer doing drama more over action movies? “I think drama is more fulfilling. It has more demands, more emotions used,” answered Luis.
Luis Manzano had to give up his hosting job in Entertainment Live for ABS-CBN’s new talent show, Pilipinas Got Talent.
“I will be gone for six weeks, since I have to go around the Philippines for PGT,” Luis said in an interview with PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) recently. Luis will tour with co-host Billy Crawford to scout for Pinoy talents who’ll peform in front of celebrity judges Kris Aquino, Ai-Ai delas Alas, and former ABS-CBN president Freddie M. Garcia.
Aside from PGT, Luis is slated to start a movie with the Young Superstar Judy Ann Santos and Popstar Princess and box-office queen Sarah Geronimo. “The title of the movie is Hating Kapatid,” informed Luis about his movie with Juday and Sarah which will be under Viva Films.

Another Filipina finished among the finalists in the prestigious Supermodel search.
Charlene Louise “Chat” Alagon Almarvez, who’s turning 17 on Jan. 25, placed first runner-up in the 2010 Supermodel of the World search held in Sao Paulo Brazil over the weekend, and got a US$150,000 modeling contract from Ford Models NYC.
Chat is the third Filipina to land in the Top 5, following Melanie Marquez (also first runner-up) in 1986 and Charo Ronquillo (second runner-up) in 2006.
“Chat is statuesque and stunning at 5’9”,” added Felix. “She’s a Business Administration freshman at the De La Salle College of Saint Benilde. She was discovered during a Santacruzan in Laguna. With just a couple of months experience in modeling, she tried her luck and won the Supermodel Philippines search during the Philippine Fashion Week in October last year.”

Once a shy and inhibited young actress, the StarStruck winner looks more confident and self-assured as PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) found out last Friday, January 15, minutes before her scheduled autograph signing for FHM Philippines at Robinsons Galleria in Quezon City.
Jackie is the cover girl of the country’s number one men’s magazine this month of January.
For the shoot, Jackie and the FHM staff ventured outside Manila and went all the way to Boracay to conduct the pictorial.
“Ang dami kong naramdaman for this. Sobrang kinakabahan ako, ninenerbiyos, excited… Actually mixed emotions, e,” Jackie described to PEP.
FOR THE FANS. With Jackie finally relenting to grace the cover, FHM’s hot pursuit of the mestiza actress officially came to an end.
“Ginawa ko ‘to for the fans,” Jackie replied when asked what prompted her to accept the magazine’s long-standing invitation.
She was both elated and in disbelief upon seeing the layout of the photos. For someone who for a time was not comfortable being a public figure, mustering enough courage to pose in a men’s magazine and seeing the results helped tremendously in improving her self-esteem.
Going sexy in print, however, did not automatically mean that Jackie would completely abandon that sweet image her home network had carefully cultivated since her entry into show business in 2005.
“Mas sexy kasi matured na ako ngayon,” Jackie said. “Pero hindi ko pa rin iniiwan ‘yong pa-tweetums ko dahil for me, ito [appearing on the cover] ini-explore ko lang ‘yong kakayanan ko kung kaya ko ba, and natutuwa ako dahil maganda naman ‘yong feedback.

With its two-part premiere this Wednesday and Thurday at 6pm, the biggest talent show in planet, the “American Idol” will be shown on QTV11 hosted by Ryan Seacrest..
To become the most star-studded season ever, American Idol 9 promises to have stars like Victoria Beckham, Neil Patrick Harris, Joe Jonas, Katy Perry, Mary J. Blige, Shania Twain, Avril Lavgine and Kristin Chenoweth appearing as guest judges during the audition period.
With judges Simon Cowell, Randy jackson and Kara DioGuardi, there will be an additional judges to them, Emmy awardee and recently awarded as People’s Choice Award winner Ellen Degeneres to sit alongside with them.
Some of the most funniest and memorable “idol” tryouts across the U.S.A. begins today Jan.13 with the Bostons auditions held at the Gillette Stadium. Tommorow, Jan.14, another audition episodes which features the Atlanta auditions held at the Georgia Dome. Jessie Mendiola was best known for her stint at Your Song Presents Boystown,she was also a Star Magic Star. Jessie shared to ABS-CBN.com that she was going to be a part of Kokey @ ako which is the most anticipated teleseryes of ABS-CBN in 2010.
She said,“Nalaman ko two months ago. Nagulat na lang ako nung sinabi sa akin ng handler ko na ‘Jessie standby for Kokey.’ ‘Oh my gosh, Kokey? Magandang opportunity ito for me.’ Alam ko kasing malaki din ang naging following nito sa kids noon.Ang laki ng ratings nung part one ‘di ba? Na-curious ako agad kung anong magiging takbo ng story at sinong ka-love team ko. And I’m really happy na it’s a wholesome show,”. She seems really excited on the teleserye with new roles of being a brat, she also met Ms.Angel Locsin on the meeting and reveals her impression to the one of the hottest stars in the Philippines.
“She’s really nice kasi hindi naman kami nagkawork pa before, hindi kami close. But then she approached me and she introduced herself, so nagulat ako. She was like, ‘Hi I’m Angel’ and she made beso. Then I said, ‘Hi, I’m Jessie po.’ Sabi niya, ‘Hey you’re here pala.’ So parang I felt at ease kasi napakabait pala niya. And the others I met na during the recent trade launch tapos I’ve worked with Direk Wenn (Deramas) sa Volta so masaya lang talaga lahat,” she beamed.
Jessie is so excited with Kokey @ ako teleserye this coming 2010 with her love interest Enrique Gil. She is playing the role of the sister of the kind-hearted scientist played by DJ Duran.

John Prats was inspired at the moment with his current projects on TV, specially on Banana Split because of the good feedback on the show. The one of the factors why the show was great because of the closeness of all the cast in the show off-cam. “Para kaming isang pamilya. Sa iisang dressing room kami kumakain, at ang cook namin ay si Pokwang.” John said.
On the other hand, he and his current girlfriend, Shaina Magdayao can’t avoid different intrigue in their relationships. One of this is when someone saw them kissing at the ASAP ‘09 dressing room. The ABS-CBN asked John about it, and he deny the issue. He also deny the alligation that he and Shaina was showing PDA (public display of affection). “Mahilig akong mang-hug pero ‘yung maghalikan kayo sa harap ng maraming tao, para namang hindi dapat. Respeto na lang din sa babae at dapat ay ginagawa ‘yun sa pribado lang, kahit sino naman, eh,” he explained.
And according to him, it is understandable if you are in the other country and there’s a new like that. Were in the Philippines and we don’t allow that kind of behaviour here. He also said that he was sweet by nature but not to a point that he will kiss someone in the public, even it is her girlfriend. “Dapat ilagay sa lugar ang mga ganoong bagay.” he said.
How are things going on with them? With a grin, John said that he was happy with Shaina. “Everyday is a special day for us, masaya lang talaga kami.” And one of the factor why their relationship is still fine beacuse they don’t work together. Its is just an opinion for John, “Malaking bagay sa amin, ‘yung hindi kami magka-loveteam pero nagsu-suportahan kami.”
John and Shaina in an actor and actress, they must be careful with their moves because a lot of people was always watching them. In their choosen carrer, even though they still a person they don’t have their own privacy. That’s the problem of being a celebrity.

ey are indeed the next generation of stars who have shown great potential,” according to the source in ABS-CBN. In a line of ABS-CBN’s young talents, Jason and Maja has a big promise specially in drama. “It’s high time that they get their own.”
Maja is the most promising actress in her generation. And Jason, from the very start show the same. Actually he is one of the young actors who was great talent in acting. As now Maja is too busy in a teleserye where she belong, May Bukas Pa. And Jason is one of the cast in a top rating daytime drama, Kambal Sa Uma, and he still starting to shoot in the most awaited Agimat: And Mga Alamat ni Ramon Revilla Presents: Tiagong Akyat.
In this daily drama series, Maja and Jason will be with the other promising actors and actress’ in terms on drama. Soon the ABS-CBN will announce this project in the to the media and public.
Maja and Jason is a great actor and actress. They deserve this bid break. And now the ABS-CBN will have a new love team. Is that great?

Stef Prescott started in Starstruck with her Co-star Kris and Aljur whom are also her co-star in GMA Prime time soap opera “all my life”.
She mentioned that she’s really grateful to once again she was given a chance to work with her starstruck batch mates and friends. When she found out that Kris and Aljur will lead a soap in prime time and that she will be part of it she said that “sige gusto ko yan”.
Stef just became real and practical in admitting that she is hoping that someday she will also have her own project in GMA.
Everyone in showbiz always pray that they become what they want and be famous. “You just really have to be patient, It comes and goes”, stef added.
Almost all newcomers ad even old in showbiz industry are dreaming and hoping to be given a role that will bring them in stardom. “Luckily” , are those who already achieved these opportunity. All i can say to you stef, don’t be tired of waiting because sooner or later, time will come and you will shine like a diamond.

The Camp of the actress Anne Curtis cancelled her scheduled taping on Monday after she got involved in a road accident in the
Quezon City. A moring show, “Umagang Kay Ganda” at ABS-CBN, a text message was receive from the road manager of Anne Curtis, Michelle. She said that she was intructed to pack up Anne’s taping. “I don’t know where she is right now. I just got the news from her yaya to pack up her supposed taping today. I’m sure hindi pa pwedeng interbiyuhin iyon ngayon,” Michelle said.
Anne, the lead star of ABS-CBN’s hit television series/teleserye “The Wedding”, was rushed to the hospital after her car hit a delivery van early Monday. And she was suffered minor injuries in the accident. Anne, was driving a Porsche Cayenne, hit an L-300 delivery van on the corner of Congressional and Mindanao Avenue aroung 2:30 in the morning. The van’s driver said the actress possibly fell asleep while driving her car. Some of the actress’ celebrity friends, including her former boyfriend Sam Milby rushed to the scene to help the actess.
Some accident was cause by driver’s who are drunk, fell asleep while driving, etc.. In the case of Anne Curtis, they said that the actress fell asleep. Maybe for the reason of heavy work and lack of sleep or rest. She’s an actress and we know what she’s up to. So I think they understand Anne if she was asleep while he was driving his car. Just pray for her and not judge the person. Lets judt understand her.

Gerald did their first taping day of Agimat with Coco Martin. And he will play the role of Tiagong Akyat. He was also excited to this project because through this, every
body will see the action star figure to him. There are lot of heavy stunts in this teleserye. Gerald also faced a lot of training for this project. He studied Parkour, it is a new sport where a person will run and jump throuh the wall and roof. Some said that it is one kind of exercise. It is a sports that will need a heavy training and upper body strength. Even in the Hollywood they used Parkour, like the movie Bourne Ultimatum with Matt Damon. And now Gerald Anderson will try it in a local TV scene. “Grabe ang training namin. Nung minsan, nagpunta kami sa may Luneta, tapos doon kami nag-try. Tumatalon kami sa pader doon. Mahirap siya talagang kailangan malakas ang upper body strength mo.” Gerald stated.
The image of Gerald is now like an action star. Did he felt that? “Medyo, medyo. Pero gusto ko pa rin yun medyo kilig at loveteam kasi yun ang gusto ng mga fans. Saka gusto ko rin namang sundan ang yapak nila Piolo Pascual, John Lloyd Cruz, sina Robina Padilla, si Senator Bong Revilla at si Ramon Revilla Sr. Lahat naman sila, I wanna follow their footsteps.” But did he feel that the role giving to him is more mature? “Oo medyo. Siyempre, it comes with age. Medyo tumatanda din tayo kaya nagma-mature din ang mga roles.” he said.
And speaking of mature roles, he heard the impressive role of Kim Chui as Dolzura Cortez in the Vilma Workshop at Dolphy Theater. Gerald was so happy to Kim, and the fans must not be worried about the rumors that they have solo projects, they will be together as loveteam again after of Tayong Dalawa. And according to him, they will have a movie that he think the fans will love.
The title of action star to Gerald Anderson is fit to him. When you watch the Tayong Dalawa at ABS-CBN, after Only You, you can say the title is rigth for him. For his next teleserye, the title will become more fitted to him. Lets just support him as a fan. I know Gerald will be a great actor and action star someday. If you believe on what you can do and try harder to make it better, you can do anything. There’s no impossible to those person who are hard worker and believe he can do everything.

Last May 22, 2009, Richard Gutierrez was accident in cavite, and everyone was all shocked. Luckily Richard survived with that tremendous accident. Unfortunately, Richards production assistant did not survived.
Richard was shocked when he found out that Nomar’s wife – Lorrayne is filing a case against him- Reckless Imprudence Resulting Homicide.
“Kung gusto talaga nila ng hustisya baki kailangan pang mapainterview sa TV at i-announce na magsasampa sila ng kaso, bakit kailangan pang magpapresscon, bakit hindi nalang agad sila nagsampa ng kaso”, said richard.
Gusto lang nila sirain ang image ko”, richard added.
When Richard went out from the hospital , he said to the public that he will support the study of Nomar’s children but Nomar’s family refused the offer. Instead they are asking for four million cash.
Despite of these incidents, we pray that Richard surpass all this struggles.
It’s hard to think that there are people who will try their best to put you down even you are already offering yourself.

Kris Bernal started in Startruck and paired with the ultimate survivor Aljur Abrenica. Due to the popularity of their “Tandem”, they where given a soap opera at GMA Drama Hapon entitled “Dapat ka bang Mahalin”, that got a high ratings. This was also the reason why they are given a chance to be seen on GMA’s Telebabad. Their new soap, “All my Life” is airing during 6:00-6:30 in the evening.Their loveteam now is GMA’s bet with ABS-CBN’s Kim and Gerald hottest loveteam. Kim and Gerald are the actors in ABSCBN Top rating prime time drama “Tayong Dalawa”.
“Nanliliit ako sa tuwing nabubuksan ang usapan sa pagkukumpara nila sa loveteam namin ni Aljur, with Kim and Gerald’s love team”, kasi matagal na silang binibuild-up ano naman ang laban namin”, said kris. Kris & Aljur’s love team was given a title which is “Royal Couple of Prime time “, but which Kris refused to accept.
She was grateful with the title given to them, though, they still have lots to prove to deserve that title. She wants to prove that their love team will meet the expectations of people.
As much as possible, they don’t have to rely on their love team, because later on they will be pair to another star as part of their showbiz career. Actress/Actors don’t have to take much time for the comparisons made by people around them. Because every actress has a talent although in different categories. Both of them were in good race to their career.

Being a Captain of their Baranggay, her father had done many accomplishment such as building a daycare center, she always come with her father whenever they have mission to do.
“Ginagawa ko po ito para maiparamdam ko sa aking ama na lagi lang akong andiyan para sa kanya, para suportahan siya sa lahat ng kanyang gagawin”, Jennica said.
She is not only a loving lady in work but also in her family who never cease to support her.

Charice Pempengco first seen in Liitle Big Star hosted by Sarah Geronimo, she was a potential contestant there. Although she was a consistent top scorer in the final rounds, she only finished in third place. Until she gained worldwide recognition after an avid supporter called ‘FalseVoice’ started posting videos of her onto YouTube.
She performed twice in The Oprah Winfrey Show. She also performed in Italy’s top rating show. And she almost leaves Italians breathless and was up on their feet dancing when she sang “I Will Survive.”

Charice Pempengco became an International singing star when she’s been a guest at the Oprah Winfrey’s show and the Ellen DeGeneres show.
Charice will be appearing on the popular musical variety show “Ti lascio una canzone (I’m Leaving a Song for You)”. More over, she will also be guesting in ‘Rai Uno’ – the highest rated show in Italy. Mrs. Pempengco also said that Charice was the sole guest for that special episode.
Charice has launched her first international hit single “Note to God” and it was top one song in iTunes and Amazon.com.

Richard Poon is known for being a jazz singer. He is Taiwanese but was born and grew up here in the Philippines. He gained his musical talent from his mother, Eva Huang, who is a famous superstar in Taiwan.
He is the first jazz musician who entered in the music industry. He relates that he loves competition and he really welcomes other artists to enter the local scene. He also said that competition would make him realize not to be too arrogant and stay humble. Read more here.
