Charice Pempengco ‘Note to God’ tops on Amazon, iTunes

MANILA, Philippines—Filipino singer Charice Pempengco has scored another triumph in her international career when her single “Note to God,” released only in the United States, broke into the Amazon.com and iTunes music charts.

Amazon is America’s largest online retailer, while iTunes accounts for 70 percent of worldwide sales of digital downloads and is the No. 1 music vendor globally.

She debuted her first internationally released single “Note to God”, which was written by Diane Warren and produced by David Foster. The single was also made available for digital download on the same day..

Erik works with Jim Brickman on latest album

PRINCE of Pop Erik Santos will be working hand-in-hand with American singer-composer Jim Brickman in his newest latest album slated to be released this July.

Erik was handpicked by Star Records to do an album with Jim who is recognized for vocal collaborations with highly-acclaimed artists such as Michael Smith, Martina McBride, Donny Osmond, Olivia Newton-John, among others.

MANILA, Philippines – Pops Fernandez’s new album titled “Hope,” under MCA Music, reunites her once again with ex-husband Martin Nievera.

With all the bad vibes momentarily being set aside, Martin and Pops recorded a duet of “Goodbye Girl” – a 1978 hit ballad written and originally recorded by former Bread lead singer David Gates and theme song of the movie of the same title, starring Richard Dreyfus and Marsha Mason.

I’m sure all will agree that work life and personal life should not be taken as one. Although its hard to separate them. They will go far if they stay this way.

Lovi scores a hit

The music video of the song, which was directed by Paul Soriano, features Lovi with Victor Aliwalas. “It’s a beautiful music video because it’s a love story with scenic spots, set in ‘50s,” says Lovi. “And I had a great time shooting the video with Victor,” she adds. “He’s a gentleman,” replies Lovi when asked about the model-turned-actor.

Singer, teen actress Lovi Poe who is said to be the rumored girlfriend of Jolo Revilla says that she is happy on her carreer right now. She has proven a lot for herself not just being an actress but also a good singer. Hoping that her album would be a great hit also like before.

Jericho Rosales gears up for new music album

Jericho Rosales on Wednesday signed an album project contract with ABS-CBN’s Star Records.

“Musically it’s going to be solid, ‘yong quality niya ay maganda at siyempre love songs,” Rosales, who is also a popular actor, said.

He said his album will be composed of original compositions and covered songs.

In the upcoming album, Rosales revealed that he personally chose Karylle to be part of the project.
