For the last months, it was controversially issued that the showbiz couple Cristine Reyes and Rayver Cruz has already part ways.
The celebrity couple refused the allegations being administered to them and they did insist that their relationship is as smooth as ever.
According to an interview with certain media last Sunday inside the dressing room of ASAP Rocks, Rayver said that the controversies linked with them makes them a stronger and understanding partner for each other.
He said, “Same pa rin kami ni AA [palayaw ni Cristine]… Kung ano kami dati, ganun pa rin kami ngayon.
“Oo, siguro dahil din sa mga intrigang ‘yan naging mas matatag kami.
“Ako, para sa sarili ko, mas naging matatag ako.
“Saka hindi mawawala ‘yan, e, yung mga issues… Sa showbizness naman, pag di pa kayo, pilit paaamining kayo na, at pag kayo na, paaamining hiwalay na kayo. Ganun lang naman talaga sa atin, kumbaga sanay na kami.”
The issue of separation shifted to the case filed by Ara Mina regarding her sister, Cristine with grave coercion and libel. What can his boyfriend say about this?
“Mabait na tao si Cristine. Basta lagi lang akong nandito para sa kanya,” he said.
He was last showed in Reputasyon as the leading man of Cristine. Ina, Anak, Kapatid was said to be his next project but he just plays a “support” role in the upcoming movie, together with him was Kim Chui, Xian Lim, Enchong Dee and Maja Salvador.
The role never became an issue with regards to the Star Magic talent.
He said, “Siyempre natuwa ako na after ilang months, start na ulit akong magtrabaho. Na-miss ko talagang umarte.
“Happy ako, excited dahil bukod sa primetime, mapapanod na uli ako ng tao na umarte uli.
“Ang nakakatuwa pa ’yung mga cast na kasama ko, mga kaibigan ko at magagaling silang mga artista kaya happy ako sa project na ito.
“Walang issue sa akin kung bida man o support lang, maganda yung role and very challenging, yun ang importante sa akin.
“Basta maganda ang proyekto at mga kasama mo mga magagaling na artista, mga kaibigan ko pa, masaya ako sa project an ito. Never naman na naging issue sa akin na kailangan palaging ako yung leading man.”
Rayver believes that there is no such thing as big and small role for professional artists.
He added, “Basta gawin mo lang ang trabaho mo nang maayos at ipakita mo sa kanila na karapat-dapat ka at yun naman talaga ang gagawin ko.”
