After her successful dramaserye Mga Nagbabagang Bulaklak, Arci Muñoz is set to be the lead actress of the first-ever daily soap of TV5 Felina: Prinsesa ng mga Pusa which will be aired next month.
In an interview with PEP.ph during the program’s story conference at the Shakey’s Tomas Morato in Quezon City, Arci gives details about her unexpected big project in the said television network.
“Actually, nagulat ako! Kasi, ang sabi pa sa akin ni Sir Perci [Intalan, TV5 executive] nung nagkita kami nung cast party ng Nagbabagang Bulaklak, sabi niya, ‘O, Arci, magpahinga ka muna. Rest ka muna kasi after Nagbabagang Bulaklak hindi pa namin alam ang [next show mo]. ‘Pero, for sure merong kasunod, merong kasunod ‘yan. Hindi ka naman mawawalan,’ ganyan. Sabi ko, ‘Sir Perci, kung puwede lang tuloy-tuloy talaga, e.’ E, nagkatotoo talaga! As in after Nagbabagang Bulaklak kasi hindi naman ako totally nagpahinga, kasi I have guestings, I have hosting jobs. So, ayun, nagulat ako na agad-agad, tumawag si Tita Annabelle [Rama, Arci's manager], ‘O, ‘day, meron ka ng susunod na project, Felina.’ Okey, sige. ‘Tas parang two days after she called, meron agad na mga fitting, lahat, itong story conference na ilang beses pang na-move… And finally, ito na, ito na siya,” she said.
Moreover, the TV5 princess also admits that she can’t help but feel pressured as she plays the title role of the said daily soap but at the same time hopeful for the program’s success, “Siyempre, yung pressure nasa akin, di ba, kasi yung title mismo, nasa akin yung title nung mismong show. Siyempre, di lang naman ako magdadala ng show, di ba, marami kami. There’s Carla [Humphries], Leandro [Muñoz], and Tita Pilita [Corrales], para sa akin malaking oportunidad din na makatrabaho ko yung mga wonderful people na ito. And I know naman with their help, magiging successful ang show namin, basta maging happy lang kami sa set, [and] maging smooth flowing ang lahat.”
Though pressured on the outcome her next project, Arci feels comfortable being paired, for the first time, with the actor Leandro Muñoz.

In an interview in StartaTalk, StarStruck alumna Arci Muñoz apologizes to Kean Cipriano of band Callalily because she was misunderstood. She said that she didn’t mean to deny him about their relationship in the interview. She said that Kean got angry because of denying that they have a relationship. She also admits to him that she didn’t deny Kean, a misunderstood about her lines. She explained to Kean about the allegations on her and said that it is part of her job.
