John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo will be reunited for an upcoming movie titled The Mistress, this is to give way in the celebration of their 10th anniversary as love team partners.
Their onscreen chemistry was evident as they did several scenes for a cam test that was briefly shown on the April 25 episode of TV Patrol. This movie will revive the John Lloyd-Bea tandem that was previously seen in the movies One More Chance (2007) and Miss You Like Crazy (2010).
In the interview with TV Patrol, the lead stars expressed their belief that this is an Olivia Lamasan film that will be surely controversial because of its theme.
The Kapamilya stars also confessed that working apart has given them the chance to grow and hone their acting skills.
“Ang daming bago, eh, kasi di ba parang ilang years yung dumaan and I’m sure iba na yung sensibilities niya,” John Lloyd said.
Bea admitted: “Nakahanda ako kasi iba na si John Lloyd, makakaeksena ko na naman siya, magsusunog ka na naman ng kilay.”
She added: “Yung plot niya kung sa totoong buhay ‘to nangyari very controversial.”
Bea and John Lloyd will also be part of the star-studded movie of Star Magic, which will mark its 20th anniversary this 2012.
Aside from working on these two movies, they are also slated to star in the upcoming teleserye, A Beautiful Affair, whichwill be partly shot in Vienna, Austria.
This teleserye will reunite Bea and John Lloyd with Laurenti Dyogi who directed their first soap opera, Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay, aired in 2002.
