As international singing sensation Charice Pempengco and Pambansang Kamao wife Jinkee Pacquio covers Preview and Mega, respectively, debate on which cover is edited better also came into rise.
It is very recognizable that Charice and Jinkee really look good in their respective magazine covers leaving people with doubt that the photos had been altered for good cover’s sake. True that all photos for magazine covers are edited but what the people are pointing out is that those of Charice’s and Jinkee’s are heavily ‘shopped to the point that it doesn’t look much like them anymore.
Jinkee’s Mega cover especially drew attention over social networking site, Twitter. Users have expressed their appreciations and disbeliefs on what they see in the cover. Some of the tweets are:

As a result, Jinkee became one of the top trending local topics in twitter recently.
Although a lot of posts are expressing criticisms, there were also ones who appreciated Jinkee’s beauty.

Mega Publishing Corp’s Cheryl Tiu aired her side of the issue over the same social networking site: “Jinkee Pacquiao was NOT photoshopped for MEGA. She’s really SIZZLING! The behind the scenes photo! @mega_magazine twitpic.com/824sty”
On the other hand, Veteran makeup artist Juan Sarte posted a video proving that Charice’s cover was not digitally altered. “Charice for Preview Behind the Scenes video. Eto ang pruweba. Hindi po yun Photoshop,” said Sarte providing a link to the video.
Finally, sinagot na ng mag-asawang Manny at Jinkee Pacquiao ang bagong intriga na naman sa kanila: na diumano’y nagkita sa Los Angeles sina Manny at Krista Ranillo, at bukod pa rito’y sa iisang apartment building na lang sila naninirahan.
Hindi parin matapos-tapos ang issue sa umano’y affair nina Manny Pacquiao at Krista Ranillo kahit pinabulaanan na ito ng Pambansnag Kamao. Di na rin maiwasan na magbigay ng pahayag ng asawa ng Pound-for-pound King na si Jinkee sa tungkol sa isyung kinasasankutan ng kanyang asawa.
