Television celebrity Kris Aquino apologized to her co-host Ruffa Gutierrez on Monday for making remarks during their talk show over the weekend that prompted the latter to walk out of the set.
In a series of SMS messages to PEP editor Jo-ann Maglipon, Kris said she never meant to hurt Ruffa, her The Buzz co-host, who is transferring to another TV station.
“I would like to extend a loving hug to Ruffa. I viewed the tape and although I still feel I gave my comment with affection, maybe it made her feel even worse because she’s now moving in a new direction. We had what I believed was a good working relationship in the almost 2 years we were together on The Buzz,” Kris said.
“To Ruffa, I sincerely apologize for causing you hurt,” she added.
Gutierrez walked out of the show’s set Sunday after she was supposedly hurt by some statements Kris made regarding her transfer to TV 5.
