Carmina Villarroel signs contact with her home network, ABS-CBN. Present in the contract signing were ABS-CBN executives namely Ms. Cory Vidanes who is the channel head, and Entertainment Head Ms. Linggit Tan.
One of the projects lined up for the actress-TV host is the talk show she’ll have with friend Janice de Belen. The two had already been in the same talk show program together with Janice’s sister, Gelli de Belen in the Kapuso Network entitled Sis. Gelli is now in the Kapatid Network while Carmina and Janice re-unite in the Kapamilya Network.
Aside from the talkshow lined up for Carmina, she will also have a teleserye with ABS.
Carmina was first launched in ABS-CBN in 1991 in the sitcom Palibhasa Lalaki where she worked with Richard Gomez, Joey Marquez, John Estrada, Anjo Yllana, the late Miguel Rodriguez, Amy Perez, Cynthia Patag, and veteran actress Gloria Romero. She transferred in the Kapuso network in 2003.
Carmina is very happy to come back to where she started. “I’m really happy that ‘yon, that I’m back here sa aking tahanan kung saan ako nagmula. Yung pagpasok ko dito, yung parang naninibago, at the same time parang yung ang daming memories. Ang daming nag-flashback…no’ng Palibhasa Lalaki days,” she narrates.
When asked about who she is looking forward to work with in ABS, Carmina quickly responded, “Si Kim Chiu!” “Kasi maraming nagsasabi sa akin na magkahawig daw kami, e,” she said.
Finally after years of waiting in order for Jericho Rosales and Kristine Hermosa to be paired again its been done.
Last July 23, 2009 talents of late Douglas Quijano celebrated his 40th birhtday. A lot of guess was present to the event. Despite of this guess were noticed the tension between ex-couple Janice de Belen and John Estrada, if you were remembered the couple was 10 years in marriage before they filed annulment.
