Singer-actress Jolina Magdangal and Rivermaya Drummer Mark Escuta exchanged “I Dos” yesterday, November 21, 2011 at around five o’clock in the afternoon. The private Christian Wedding was held at Splendido Taal Golf and Country Club in Laurel, Batangas
The couple intentionally didn’t announced the exact date and place they are going to get married because they wanted the wedding to be a very private one.
The groom was evidently tensed as he waits for his bride before the wedding but experienced a sudden jolt of excitement as he sees Jolina walk down the aisle while Moonriver was playing in the background. Jolina can’t help but cry while she takes her steps to a new life with husband Mark Escueta.
The couple wasn’t able to prepare their wedding vows beforehand because there are no exact words that could ever be said to express their love for one another. They say their vows spontaneously, filled with all the emotions they are keeping inside their hearts. The wedding guests were very touched and moved with the vows the couple exchanged. Jolina and Mark’s happiness were so obvious at that time.
“Ikaw ang pinakamagandang regalo ni God,” said Jolina. “Sabi ko, sasabihin ko na lang kung anong nararamdaman ko para sa iyo. Lahat ng nandito, lahat ng in-invite natin dito, alam nila kung gaano kita kamahal,” she adds while tears run down her cheeks. She jokes, “Pagpasensyahan mo na kung minsan naghihintay ka ng limang oras dahil nasa banyo ako. Kung matangkad at mestiza lang ako, promise three minutes lang ako sa banyo. Pasensya ka na kung minsan, ang daldal ko…”
Jolina addresses Mark as her “bestfriend” and “kakampi.”
Mark’s wedding vow was likewise filled with emotions that he even cried as he says that Jolina is the light of his life.
The couple’s dream honeymoon trip is to Alaska for them to witness the famous Northern Light, also known as the Aurora- a very romantic natural light display in the sky which can be seen in high latitude regions. If this dream will come true right after the wedding, only Jolina and Mark knows.

Pero the network should be asked about that.” She explained as her role of being Rosalinda soon to finished because it only bids last two weeks before the finale.
