I’ll Be There is an upcoming movie released under Star Cinema.
It will be topbilled by real-life father and daughter Gabby Concepcion and KC Concepcion. Members of its cast include Jericho Rosales, Gee-Ann Abrahan, Luz Valdez, Mickey Ferriols, Cacai Bautista, Ikey Canoy, Celia Rodriguez, and Bugoy Cariño. It is directed by Maryo J. Delos Reyes.
Nagkaroon ng pagkakataon ang PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) na makausap ang Megastar na si Sharon Cuneta sa Imperial Palace Suites kagabi, February 3, ilang oras bago siya lumipad patungong Japan kasama ang buo niyang pamilya para magbakasyon. Si Sharon kasi ang nag-induct ng bagong officers ng Entertainment Press Society o Enpress, isang grupo ng entertainment writers.
Tungkol sa pagbabakasyon nila sa Japan, sinabi ng Megastar na gusto raw kasi niyang ma-experience at makita ng kanyang mga anak ang snow.
“We’ll go mostly sa Northern ng Japan,” banggit niya. “All my children are leaving except for my little boy, kasi his papers are not yet finished. No passport pa. And then may niece Ella, daughter of Anthony and Maricel Pangilinan. And then, siyempre all my children, kasama si Kace [KC Concepcion] and two yaya.”
Ang tinutukoy na “little boy” ni Sharon ay ang ampon nila ng kanyang mister na si Senator Kiko Pangilinan.
Panliligaw ba sa kanyang muli ni Kiko ang pagpunta nila sa Japan?
“Hindi! Actually, gift ko sa kanya makapunta lang. Ayoko nang istorbohin ang budget! Talagang, ‘Sige na sweetheart!’” natatawang sabi ni Sharon
SHARON’S “LITTLE BOY.” Going back to her “little boy,” masasabing daig pa halos ni Sharon ang nanganak muli. Nanay na nanay nga siya kapag ang tungkol na sa adopted son niyang si Miguel, o Migs kung tawagin nila, ang usapan.
“Wonderful! I am so in love with him! Parang lumabas talaga sa akin. Sa kanya lang ako hindi tumaba!” natatawang biro niya. “Tapos, he’s smiling all the time now. He’s three months old. Yung focus niya, grabe, ganyan siya. At kapag kinakausap mo, humahalakhak.”
Sabi pa ni Sharon, naka-adjust na raw ang lahat ng kanyang mga anak—KC, Frankie, at Miel—sa kanilang new brother.
“Actually, from the beginning pa, sila yung mas excited. So, I was very thankful talaga.”
Hands-on din ba si Sharon sa kanyang baby boy?
“Oo,” mabilis niyang sagot. “Pero siyempre, we’re working. We tried to get him breastmilk from several choices na kilala, lately yung best friend ni Judy Ann [Santos]… We’re very grateful. Parang ginto sa amin.”
Katabi raw matulog ng dalawang girls niya na sina Frankie at Miel si Migs.
“They sleep in his room. His room is KC’s old room. So, inayos namin. Talagang nag-aagawan sila. Si Kace naman, she’s big ate. Siyempre, I had to ask her muna when we had him on the first day. Tinanong ko siya, ‘There’s a baby that I really like…’ Siya yung nagsabi na, ‘Mama, please keep him,’” kuwento ni Sharon.
Ayon pa kay Sharon, kamukha raw ni Migs sina Coco Martin at Sid Lucero.
“Actually, yun ang tipo niya, tisoy. Parang Pinoy na tsinito na maputi,”
pagmamalaki ni Sharon.
Even though KC and Ga
bby don’t get to see each other often, he was aware of the fact that Piolo Pascual has been courting his daughter. He was now open to answer the questions about that issue. “That’s old news e, kalat na kalat na ‘yan. Siyempre we will not deny that dahil alangan namang ako lang ang ‘di nakakaalam.” Gabby said. When he asked if he approves the match, he qickly reply Yes. Just like Sharon Cuneta who was vocal about wanting Piolo Pascual as KC’s future husband. “Oo naman, mabait naman siya. Siyempre sino ba naman ang hindi dahil ang alam natin sa kanya okay siya. Sana nga yung friendship nila mas tumibay pa and I hope tuloy-tuloy yung friendship nila,” he replied.
But if he was giving his daughter an advice, Gabby stressed that she should not rush into anything that she’s not yet ready for. “Sabi nga nila enjoy it while it lasts. But at the same time, be careful with your emotions. You have to control your emotions dahil baka ikaw lang ang masaktan. But whatever it is, siyempre nagkasama kayo because of circumstances, you have to be mature enough to accept what comes with that responsibility. So ganon lang, bumabalik ulit sa take it slow at saka think before you act.” Gabby said.
Gabby was relieved to know that KC recently assured Sharon that she has no plans to get married anytime soon even if her suitor or byfriend was the country’s ultimate hearthrob. “O ‘di good! Because I don’t want to be a young lolo!” he laughed. “Hindi… Basta’t masaya ang anak ko masaya na din ako. Hindi ko naman buhay ‘yan e. Ang importante lang siyempre kung saan siya masaya otherwise kapag mabigat ang dibdib niya mabigat din ang dibdib mo, ganun lang naman ‘yan,” he finally stated.
Gabby is a father, and has right to get involve in his daughter’s life. Specially when talking about KC’s suitors and about marriage. Atleast his open about what is going on to his daughter’s life. As long as he still become a father to KC, support, understand and love his daughter he can be a good father.
After the long wait for the confirmation on what’s the real score between Piolo and KC, Piolo Pascual finally speak out and tell the public the he is courting KC Concepcion. If you were remembered the two meets and the 18th birthday party of KC and Piolo sung during the event, and another headline arouse that KC has a crush to Piolo. Years past because KC had to leave to study abroad, when KC comes back a lot of shows were offered to her. And now it seems that the simple crush turns into reality and relationship. Last July 17, 2009 the Cinemalaya was held at the CCP(Cultural Center of the Philippines). Piolo is the lead actor and producer for the opening movie titled Manila. As Piolo arrived everyone was shocked when they saw Piolo together with KC entering the venue. On the said event we can say that Piolo was supported by an important girl in his life. Piolo personally invited KC to join him to the said event. The actor was asked if “sila na” actor said “hindi pa kami”, but you were courting her? “Opo nandun parin tayo sa stage na yun” Piolo said.
The press asked the issue about the perfume that she gave to KC. It was an expensive Frederick Malle perfume which the actor bought from France when Piolo attend the Cannes Film festival.
Rumors arouse that the perfume is good for years to use.
Sharon Cuneta is the one and only “Megastar”. She is a brilliant singer, excellent television host and award-winning actress. She had a series of shows in the US and the first one is in Las Vegas, Nevada.
KC Concepcion, her daughter, served as a special guest. Her husband, Sen. Kiko Pangilinan as well as their two daughters are there to show support.
The show in Vegas was a success and it proved indeed that Sharon will remain in the hearts of the Filipinos- here and abroad.

Megastar Sharon Cuneta finally reacted to the issue that her eldest daughter KC Concepcion is reportedly “getting closer” to her new on-screen partner Piolo Pascual.
In an interview with “SNN: Showbiz News Ngayon,” Cuneta said she has nothing against anyone who gets closer to her daughter as long as KC will be treated with respect.
“(Sabi ko nga), anybody [who] threats my daughter with respect and who takes care of her is welcome in our home,” Cuneta said.
Piolo Pascual and Kc Concepcion are busy for their first television series “Lovers in Paris”. For the first time they work together and sharon cuneta has nothing to say because she knows KC is in a good hands..

But KC Concepcion proves that you can be an actress and still be healthy. She tells the Philippine edition of Women’s Health in its maiden issue, “Every morning, even if my call time for the day is at 8 A.M., I’m at the gym. [My trainer] never lets me start the day without working out.”
Aside from being a pesco-vegetarian and following a specially-prescribed circuit training workout, KC also shares that she has declared 2009 her “Wellness Year”. She tells Women’s Health, “It’s funny because I haven’t even had the time to do my nails for almost two months! Now I’m realizing it’s so important to take care of yourself.”
