After the brawl he had with Coco Martin at the Salon de Ning, Matteo Guidicelli had finally broken his silence and explained that the incident was just a ‘big big misunderstanding’.

“Co, pasensya na talaga sa nangyari. It was just a big big misundestanding. Sana hindi talaga nangyari yung nangyari. Sorry talaga sa text na naging misunderstanding. Sana makapag-usap na tayo and sana we’ll just be friends again and start again from zero,” Matteo apologized during an exclusive interview yesterday with Boy Abunda on ABS-CBN’s entertainment talk show ‘The Buzz’.

Matteo admitted that everything happened because of his jealousy of Coco Matins’s ‘stolen kisses’ from Maja Salvador which also resulted to a ‘major major’ fight with her a few months ago.

“Noong nag-teleserye na siya (Maja Salvador), yung with Coco (Martin),” he said pertaining to a teleserye, Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin, his girlfriend and Coco had. “Yun ang simula do’n, yun ang major, major fight namin. Yung tinext ko na siya. Tinext ko si Coco about sa mall show nila. Parang nailang ako. Hala…then, second, then third,” he explained.

“Tinext ko siya agad. I asked him ‘Bro what’s your problem?’ Tapos sabi niya ‘Bakit bro anong nangyayari?’ I was just saying ‘Alam mo naman.’ Sabi niya ‘Mag-usap na lang tayo.’ He offered to talk. I told him I’ll talk to him when it’s the right time for me. I said like ‘I’ll see you when I see you,’” Matteo added.

He also mentioned that he had not yet fixed things with Coco Martin but he and Maja had resolved the issue.

“I wasn’t able to finish with him to resolve the problem. I left it hanging. Time passed and everything was good and everything was okay,” he said.

The young actor also revealed that his first approach to Coco was at the Star Magic Ball 2011.

“That was my effort when I went up to him. That’s where I also made a mistake parang nag-miscommunicate kaming dalawa. I went up to him. I placed my arm over his shoulder sabi ko ‘Bro bakit hindi mo ako pinapansin?’ Sabi niya sa akin ‘Kasi bro inaaway mo ako eh.’ That time po wala talaga akong galit sa kanya. I just wanted to clear things… mamaya sabi ko sa kanya ‘Bro mag-usap na lang tayo sa labas.’ And then sabi niya ‘Okay sa labas, tara bro.,’” he said.

“I was trying to analyze everything. Also din kasi after 2 steps may parang step doon. My arm was around his shoulder. Baka feeling niya bumigat ang braso ko in his shoulder so he felt threatened, he felt provoked. I was really caught off guard. He punched me up here. I fell back. When I fell back, everybody just came in the picture and stopped everything. They held Coco, they held me,” he explained.

When he was asked regarding the current status of his relationship with Maja, he replied, “Kami pa rin po. We are doing good. Sa palagay ko po, itong event na to made us stronger po as a couple. Siyempre po mahal ko siya sobra sobra po.”

In the last part of the interview, Matteo Guidicelli said a few words for Maja Salvador.

“Maja, maraming maraming salamat sa lahat. I know she only wants the best for me. Nandito ako para sa yo. Susuportahan kita kahit anong gagawin mo. Mahal kita.”
