May Cachuela and Camille Acojedo file a complaint of maltreatment last year to Maricel Soriano.
The two house helps of Maricel went to a program “Isumbong Mo kay Tulfo” which is hosted by Mon Tulfo to complain about what happened at the house of the actress Maricel in Rizal Tower of Rockwell at Makati City last June 29, 2011.

They had a clarification hearing in Barangay Hall for the physical-abuse case that Cachuela and Acojedo filed but Diamond Star Maricel Soriano did not show up.
At the office of Vic del Rosario Jr. and Shirley Kuan the two sides decided to settle their problem after a year. They both realized that what happened to them was a misunderstanding because of their emotions.
Here are the full joint statements of both sides.
“Noong ika-29 ng Hunyo 2011 ay nagkaroon ng isang hidwaan sa pagitan nina Gng. Soriano at Bb. Acojedo at Bb. Cachuela. Dahil dito ang magkabilang partido ay nagkasamaan ng loob at ito ay naging bunga para sa pagrereklamo nila Bb. Acojedo at Bb. Cachuela kay Gng. Soriano sa piskalya ng Lungsod ng Makati.
“Dahil sa tulong nina Mon Tulfo at Congresswoman Bagasina ng ALE Partylist, ang mga partido ay nabigyan ang bawa’t isa ng pagkakataon na ipaliwanag ang kanilang mga saloobin sa pangyayari sa isa’t isa. Dito natanto ng lahat na ang naganap na insidente ay isa lamang hindi pagkakaintindihan ng mga partido dahil sa bugso ng kani-kanilang damdamin. Matapos ang mapayapa at maayos na pag-uusap ng mga partido, minabuti na nila na magkasundo at tapusin na ang hidwaan na namagitan sa kanila.
“Pinili ng mga partido na makipag-kasundo sa isa’t isa at kalimutan na lamang ang kung anumang nangyari at bigyan halaga ang matiwasay na muling pagkakasundo nila.
