StarStruck alumna left showbiz to give birth to their child of boyfriend Paulo Avelino. After giving birth to a healthy baby boy “Aki”, LJ is now ready to face showbiz again with a new manager.
LJ was handled by GMA Artist Center since she started showbiz. The new mom said in an interview with PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) that her contract with GMA Artist Center already ended. She wanted to try other manager, now she is one of the so called “alaga” together with the other newbie Wendell Ramos in PPL Entertainment Inc. that is handled by Perry Lansigan. LJ said that she’s very happy that Kuya Perry (according to her) accepted her as a new talent.
Even if her time for her new born will be unlike if she doesn’t have projects, Lj’s very excited to work on her comeback show is an GMA’s afternoon soap “Sisid”. She will play as the main “kontrabida” to the lead role played by Jackie Rice. She might as well brought baby Aki with her in tapings.
When asked if she’ll continue showing her sexy image, since she posed for a men’s magazine before she got pregnant, the actress said that since the director of the soap, Ricky Davao, said that the scenes will be intimate and sexy so everyone is expected to be sexy. It wouldn’t be a problem to the new mom because giving birth almost didn’t make her body look like she carried a baby at all. Instead she looked even sexier than before.
“Sa totoo lang, hindi talaga, hindi talaga kami. No, we’re not together,” pahayag ni Daiana. Dahilan na rin siguro na magkasama sila sa Eat Bulaga kaya namuo itong balita na ito. Lagi kasi silang tinutukso ng kapwa nila host sa nasabing show.
Almost 18 years ang naging serbisyo ni Perry Lansigan sa GMA-7. He can be considered a “celebrity” na rin, being the manager of some of Kapuso network’s prime talents, like Dingdong Dantes, Geoff Eigenmann and Jolina Magdangal, among others.
