Coco Martin will be Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo’s new leading man for her comeback movie.
Coco was very delighted upon hearing the news because it is a very good opportunity for his career.”Nung bata pa lang ako pinapanood ko na si Ms. Judy Ann… in Esperanza, Krystala” (When I was young, I always watch Ms. Judy Ann… in Esperanza, Krystala), Coco says in his interview with ABS-CBN. Gina Pareño and Maja Salvador will be part of the movie, too.
It is not the first time that the 2 actors team up together in a movie. In 2001, Coco has a role in Judy Ann’s movie entitled “Lux Txt“.
Currently, Coco it’s portraying a dual role in his teleserye Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin. In this series, he play as twins with different personality and beliefs: a soldier and a member of NPA.
Coco is nominated in Urian Awards for his movie Noy. He also won as Best Supporting Actor for his movie Serbis in the same film award. He will also be awarded by Urian as the Actor of the Decade.
This year is the most awaited comeback of Judy Ann in showbiz, after she and Ryan Agoncillo got married(2009) and gave birth with their son Juan Luis(2010).
Judy Ann is also set to be the host in the Philippine edition of Junior MasterChef that will air on ABS-CBN.
