A new Kim-Gerald movie that every Kimerald should watch for. Their movie called “Till My Heartaches End” shows a very different Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson. They are already considered young actors and actresses of their generation. They were stars from ABS-CBN primetime dramas “Tayong Dalawa” and “Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo” which they were recognized as Primetime Drama Princess and Primetime Action-Drama Prince respectively.
Jose Javier Reyes wrote and directed this movie. He also revealed that he created a script from scratch, wrote it just over the weekend. The love story revolves between Agnes (Kim) and Paolo (Gerald) based from the point of view of their friends. They shoot the movie just only 6 weeks. I never thought that a film would be in a month and a half in production.
Carol Banawa sang the theme song of the film. She came back from the States to promote with Kim and Gerald. She is one of my favorite singers in the Philippines and I’m looking forward to listen to her version of Ella May Saison’s original “Till My Heartaches End”.
“Till My Heartaches End” will be showing on 27th of October in all theaters nationwide.
Coco Martin topbills “Noy”, a film about dreams, hope and heroism. Also starring Cherry Pie Picache, Erich Gonzalez, Joem Bascon, Vice Ganda, Baron Geisler and an array of the best performers in different generations. Helmed by Dondon Santos, “Noy” is produced by CineMedia and distributed by Star Cinema.

EVERYONE was surprised by the cameo role of Gabby Concepcion in ex-wife Sharon Cuneta’s newest movie “BFF (Best Friends Forever).”
The rumored quick appearance of Gabby has been consistently denied by Star Cinema during its past press briefings.
Gabby is very visible nowadays. He will do a teleserye with actress Lorna Tolentino in Abs-cbn. Everyone is happy to know that he and Sharon are in good terms now. I hope that they will have a reunion movie soon.
Gabby Concepcion is set to be paired with Angelica Panganiban in his comeback film that might be shown before the end of the year, an official of Star Cinema announced Thursday.
In a press briefing, Star Cinema’s AdProm director Roxy Liquigan said the movie, with a working title “Broken Hearts,” will be directed by well-acclaimed director Laurice Guillen.
Kim Chiu, sans onscreen partner Gerald Anderson, will also be part of the film. Liquigan said Chiu will play the role of Concepcion’s daughter. This will be Chiu’s first movie without Anderson.
I think this will be an intereaing pair-up for Star Cinema. I hope this film will do great because Gabby and Angelica are great actors.
Bea Alonzo’s “I Love You So” with Sam Milby and Derek Ramsay will not screen on June 15 as the next Star Cinema release after Sharon Cuneta and Ai Ai delas Alas’ “BFF (Best Friends Forever).” It’s actually a toss between Bea’s movie and Maja Salvador’s first starrer “Estrella.” According to Star Ad and Promo Managing Director Roxy Liquigan, “Di pa talaga kami sure kung Maja or Bea-Sam movie. Parehong tinatapos.”
And the opening of the first movie to finish will not be June 15 but, as Roxy said, the next Star Cinema release after “BFF” is “last week of June” Roxy explained. That’s either Jun 24 or July 1. In any case, it’s up to face formidable competitors “Transformers 2” which is opening on June 24 and “Ice Age 3” on July 1.
I just wish that everything will turn out right for everyone. I am looking forward to see these movies on the big screen.
TWO of the country’s top-caliber artists — Megastar Sharon Cuneta and Comedy Queen Ai-Ai delas Alas — shared one big screen together in Star Cinema’s 16th year anniversary offering “Best Friends Forever.”
This funny movie will be the first tandem of Sharon and Ai-Ai in time for Mother’s Day next month.
This movie is the mother’s day presentation of Star Cinema. With these big stars, this movie will surely be a big hit.
“T2” of Star Cinema has already earned at least P70 million in box-office receipts more than a week after it started to be shown in cinemas nationwide.
“The Buzz” reported that the horror-suspense film has already grossed a total of P75 million as of April 18.
Directed by well-acclaimed director Chito Roño, the storyline of “T2″ is based on the “engkanto” stories culled from the staff and crew of the movie. The screenplay was written by Aloy Adlawan.
It shows that the Philippine movie industry is still breathing. This shows how much artistry, authenticity and passion spent in doing this movie by the actors and the people behind its huge success.
