Its been a long time when the singer-actress Jennylyn Mercado involve in a controversy. As remembered Jennylyn filed a case against her former personal assistant Rowena “Mel” Pulmano. From the said case Rowena also filed a counter charge of robbery and it was dismissed by Quezont City Assistant Prosecutor Arleen Tagaban due to lack of evidence. Jennylyn felt that her reputation to public brings back and the long wait has a positive results.
“Siguro eto na yung sagot na wala akong ginawang masama,para akong nabunutan ng tinik” Jennyly said.
Jennylyn’s legal counsel Atty.Joji Alonso said that she praised the prosecutor ddecisions because the case was properly reviewed and seen the merit of Jennylyn’s case.
Qualified theft is a serious charge for a bailable theft you only have minimum 222,000 but since the money involve range to 460,000 the case was non-bailable then. If Rowena had proven guilty she might be behind bars for 20 years and one day up to 40 years of imprisonment.
