If we look at the ratings of Zorro in both the figures of AGB Nielsen and TNS, it is the only show on the Kapuso network that is consistently topping the ratings among other shows in the network.
As I have written a couple of weeks ago, the pilot week of Zorro did save GMA’s primetime block from sinking deep down into the ratings. The show surprisingly pulled up the ratings of Ang Babaeng Hinugot Sa Aking Tadyang, All About Eve, and even the Koreanovela Fated to Love You, which was being beaten in Mega Manila by the sitcom that is masquerading as showbiz news program called Showbiz News Ngayon.
No matter what Richard Gutierrez is going through his fans are still supportive to all of his projects. His top rating show in GMA Zorro only proves that no one can stop him as one of the best actors today. Richard also have recently honored by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts and Malacañan Palace for being an advocate of protecting the environment.
THE co-stars of Richard Gutierrez in “Zorro” and its crew members all speak highly of him.
